EMS Incident Update Yesterday evening, the duty shift was dispatched to a reported shooting. Ambulance 1 arrived on scene and confirmed a total of four patients with gunshot wounds, prompting an immediate recall of all available off-duty EMTs and Paramedics for additional manpower. Mutual aid ambulances from Plymouth and Plympton were requested, along with MedFlight. Carver Fire Department responded to assist EMS with patient care and secured a landing zone for MedFlight at their headquarters. Tragically, one victim was pronounced deceased at the scene, and a second victim later succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. Two additional patients remain in critical condition at local hospitals. The incident remains under investigation by the Carver Police Department. We would like to thank our mutual aid partners for their rapid response and support, as well as all members of the public safety team for their professionalism, teamwork, and dedication during this challenging incident. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and all those affected.
